Pongo and Panda Bear

Last night we had to say goodbye to my beloved, Pongo. He had bone cancer and we were forced to help him over the bridge. My heart is broken into a million pieces and I already miss him terribly. Ivy had her baby today. A beautiful black and white buckling. The kids want to call him Oreo. I think every black and white goat in the world is named Oreo, but what's one more. Hopefully we can find a good pet home for him. Amelia should be next and I'm hoping Dolly and Raisin will follow this weekend. Then we will be done until late April or early May with Juliette. Tomorrow is Parent/Teacher Conference day. It will be nice to have a relaxing Friday. Arod is giving us an hour and a half for lunch. Then I will pick up the kids from Denison and we will be out at 2:30. On Sunday a woman from Parma is coming over to meet the animals and to see if she would like to stay at our house and take care of everyone while we go camping in June with 4-H. She also talked about maybe getting two goats, so maybe Oreo would be good for her. I am still very sad and having a hard time shaking it. He was such a good dog with a heart of gold. It just kills me that his last days were so painful. I hope that he is pain free and running with abandon now.
